The hotel has lovely grounds and plenty of parking.
It was frustrating trying to sleep when all we could hear were their loud conversations and footsteps. Thankfully, they checked out the next morning, and our second night was peaceful, but this shouldn't have been the case during our entire stay.

They offer new-fashioned, nicely decorated rooms with a large armoire containing the TV and nice touches like the refrigerator and free WiFi.

This historic hotel is perfect for family gatherings. With our four kids, we enjoyed exploring local antique shops and fishing villages along the coast. The location provided easy access to fun activities for all ages.
In my wife's opinion, the hotel could offer more kid-friendly amenities.

Modern hotel, thoroughly enjoyed our stay, it had outstanding food and nice location high on a hill. The very helpful and attentive stuff accommodated all the needs. Location: the venue was right by the Maine coast and the tavern which worked out really well. Easily reached Domino's Pizza, located just a pleasant stroll away from the hotel, had lunch/dinner there😃

This place was just a balanced option for a day tour in Durham, offering very good value for money. The breakfast selections were delicious, with perfectly cooked eggs, made the mornings enjoyable. Check out Portsmouth for great shops and restaurants nearby.

The continental breakfast was particularly excellent, especially on Sunday, with a great selection that added a nice touch to our mornings. The room maintained a charming atmosphere and was impeccably clean. The air conditioning struggled to cool our room adequately, contrasting with the temperature of the adjacent room, noticeably cooler. While the dining options were good, a wider variety would enhance the experience further.

Our standard queen room was a cozy little haven! The fireplace added a romantic touch, perfect for snuggling after a day of exploring. We loved soaking in the massive tub-it was like having a spa right in our room!

The Three Chimneys Inn is full of Old New England charm. I loved my stay in the Lilac Room #19. The quirks of the place, like the creaky floors and mismatched decor, added to its unique appeal. The staff treated me well. They were great to my needs. The breakfast was nice because they let me order from the menu instead of the buffet, perfect since it allowed me to customize my meal. I appreciated the location too. It's only a short drive to Portsmouth and Kittery for shopping and restaurants. I did notice the room had a very small TV hidden away, which could be an issue for those wanting to unwind with a show. Despite these minor inconveniences, the overall atmosphere was good.

The setting is beautiful and convenient with Durham nearby, a friendly bartender, and a picturesque hill at the end of a driveway; we enjoyed having lunch at Subway close by.
